I just found out my insurance will not be effective until March 1st now because I missed the midnight deadline for the February 15th effective date. Well, that's what they said. I know I submitted my form before the deadline and it could've just been that there never was a deadline and the insurance agent just wanted her commission for the month closing since it was Jan 31st.
But anyway, does anyone know if in the United States, will an Urgent Care prescribe for anxiety medication like Buspar since it is non-narcotic? I have had it before in the past for about a year. It really helped me and didn't make me loopy.
How about an anti-depressant?
I feel I need something in the meantime until I can get into CBT. The thought of waiting an entire month terrifies me.
Or maybe should I call the CBT trauma specialist and tell her what's going on and see if she can prescribe? I know she said she wanted me to give CBT at least a chance to reduce those symptoms, but I don't want to.
