Anybody Ever Home School Their Child?

@Neverthesame I'm gonna break it down for her and go in small groups of states. We'll make up little sayings/anecdotes to remember the capitols i.e. Louisianna. Capitol is Baton Rouge. Louisanna is a girl that "Bats" her eyelashes and puts on "Rouge" etc.

Makes it easier to remember.

One of my sayings about home schooling was: "Who learns the most when we homeschool? Mommy!"

Just want to give an update:

It's been a little while since I pulled my daughter from public school.

She's mastered her math facts all the way to 8 tables (started with three's)
now is learning to multiply 2 numbers over 2 numbers
did a geography report on u.s. states. It's about 14 pages long.....so beautifully done.
has consistently gotten 90 or better on spelling tests.
has read 2 books. Each over 200 pages.
Is learning how to write in complete sentences.
Learning how to count money (just started)
Doing project on different stages of babies growth (pregnancy, week by week)
she attends creative writing at her new school, we take paper home and work on spelling, capitalization and punctuation.
Also working on vocabulary as well.

I am so proud at all the hard work she has done. Especially when it comes to her math facts. We have a folder full of papers at least 2 inches thick!
