I'm on Facebook. It's my only form of socialization. I think I'd be lost without it, since I never see people in real life. I have my privacy settings on high HIgh HIGH!!! So I feel safe. I also play a few games on FB.I read that some games are good for PTSD sufferers. I like the ones that make me think, like hidden object games or match the colored marbles etc.

I mostly lurk on Facebook, keep up with what everyone else is doing. I am friends with a lot of family members around the globe. When I post it's usually a quote or a song or a funny picture, etc. I rarely if ever post anything personal. I never post the places thingamjigger telling where I am at the moment, and in fact that creeps me out on behalf of the other people who do do that. Make sense? I'm like dude! Don't tell where you are right now! People will know you are not at home! So I get creeped out on their behalf

And I should note, that I have a page on FB that is not MY page or a page about me, but an effort to support others who have an illness and I spend 99% of my time on THAT page trying to support others.

I won't do any social media. Partly because I know I'd be jealous of what a lot of my acquaintances present as their lives, and partly because I'm afraid of my real life and my online life crossing paths.

No I am not addicted. I run 3 FB pages for volunteer organizations. Drives me nuts having to designate people to assigned areas, they are set up for communication and support for blind people and there carers.

I have a Facebook page. I use it to organise trips to the pub and post photos of me doing cool stuff. I think I check it once or twice a week?

I like Facebook because even when I don't feel like being around people, I can see how friends and family are doing. If you have a lot of social anxiety, it may be a safe place for you to start socializing.

I made the classic social media mistake too many times and now avoid Facebook, etc as much as possible, especially when my symptoms are running hot.

What is the classic social media mistake? Drunk facebooking. :)

I do check on it everyday. I only, usually, play one word game on it. I use to play the hidden object games until I had to start building a garden and noticed my garden was very erratic compared to others.

I would not have joined except this tends to be the only way I get connected to the world. I do have high security.

I put no as far as being addicted though. It's just that I could go without it if need be. I don't need or want to be on it all the time. I don't check it before bed. I do go on it in the morning, as well as other sites. I started with twitter and a couple other sites because of my blog, but those I go to even less.

I'm on here more then anywhere else. For now that's okay, because it is what I need.
