Sufferer Assaulted, Abused As Child, Raped As Teen And Verbal Abused

I am forty-one years old now and have major depression and PTSD. I was locked in closets, thrown across rooms and mentally abused as a child. Later as a teen I was raped by a teen I trusted. Verbal abuse has been a pattern throughout my life and continues through several people. I was also assaulted by my son. I think some PTSD is from my Emergency Medical Service, as a young adult.

Welcome to the PTSD Forum. Sorry you got treated so crappy by those who should have protected you. Been there myself, it really sucks as an adult to think we've been treated that way.
