I also like the Chinese animal system overlaid on the Greek. Rat is Aquarius. Each sign is a time of day and Aquarius is 11pm to 1am, or midnight, the turning over. Year of the Rat is the turning over, starting a new cycle. And Neptune is transitioning Pisces to Aries, a new cycle. And Jupiter is passing Saturn, a new cycle. And Uranus is still in Aries, the start of a new cycle. Interestingly, the Chinese year system is based on which sign Jupiter is in. In the sky right now Jupiter is in Sagittarius, but Western astrology has it in Capricorn, and Chinese puts it in Aquarius, if you go by “Year of the Rat.” So we are constantly living with a twinning phenomenon, a sensation of simultaneously living in the future and present at the same time. And there are two, maybe more, futures.
This is how astrology and numerology helps me make sense of the world. By dividing it into 12 truths. But also 13. 3’s and 4’s, and 5’s and 8’s, and 2’s and 6’s. And 7’s sometimes.
Sigh. It’s so beautiful.
