Away Go Troubles Down The Drain

I have finally beaten my arch rival the bath tub drain. This drain is evil. I have had plumbers come out twice to snake the drain and it will last until the kids drop something else down the drain. This time the dang thing was stopped up for almost 4 months. I had been dealing with it by using a drill powered pump to pump the water from the tub into the toilet and it works. Finally I lost my mind on this drain. I went out and bought a industrial sized drain snake and after much cussing I finally cleared the drain. I know it is a small accomplishment but for me it was amazing. I laughed like a mad man when that sucker drained.

SMALL ACCOMPLISHMENT??? A clear running drain is one of the greater blessings of life and no small feat with kids in the house! Congratulations!

I don't consider it a SMALL achievement. I've snaked it, I've used a variety of chemicals (at different times, of course) and my daughter has a bathroom sink that still seems impossible to keep clear. I seriously do not know how that child manages to clog it up so quickly.

Good job! We have a septic system that likes to back up come spring, which leaves the tub draining slowly. I imagine your pain. Congratulations on success!
