I'm glad you're doing better. Self-awareness and understanding your own cycle does help. I typically have trouble in November/December. I had bounced back from that and was doing pretty well for a couple of months when last week I knew something just felt off. I couldn't say that I was depressed or manic but knew that something was off. I just called my psychiatrist's office and told them I needed them to send me a lab slip so I could go get my lithium level checked. Sure enough, it was low and we're able to adjust my dose before I ended up in a terrible place. 10 or 20 years ago I wouldn't have been self-aware enough to have picked up on things until it was really bad and obvious to everyone.
