I don't think men are supposed to understand woman. Nor are woman supposed to understand men. Although both groups profess to. Just try to find one that let's you be you and you do the same for her. That works out better than trying to understand that stuff.
I've been married to the same woman for more than 40 years, I always thought she deserved a prize just for putting up with me. Think I got the one truly great one in this world. Never nags, let's me do as I please, Can't date other woman, that's a given of course, but always supported me in what ever I do and I do the same for her. I think we've probably had like one argument in that entire time. Just damn lucky there. She's the best part of this life.
And back to the original question; I do understand somethings about here after all this time, but some things are still a mystery to me. You just get used to it after a time. As I said, it's more about luck than understanding.
