It also feeds into neediness. If you ask for advice and then give excuses as to why you won’t listen to that advice, it comes across as being needy

Like I said before, it has nothing to do with making excuses, plus making a comment "you dont want to get better" is disrespectful.

that can be a real trigger back to trauma. I guess il saying it might be the feelings that are triggering you rather than the person.

@PURUSHA I’m really sorry that you find yourself in the position that you’re in right now, but apparently you were triggered when you posted. Advice...... shut off the computer, walk away and calm down. Then when you are no longer triggered, start a thread or post.

There are many things in life that we can not change, and “must” find a way to live, without this causing problems. I think that this may be the issue with you. I suggest strongly, that you let go of this issue, let it roll off your back, and work on parts of your trauma that you need to work on.

You have every right to post as many times as you want/need to post about an issue. Just remember that other people may get frustrated with you and may lash out. It may seem to them that you are not taking the advice, or are not working on the issue. For others, like myself, I know that you are struggling with this issue, and that you post because it’s really bothering you.

Whatever you choose to do, do it in a non triggered moment and be calm when you do.........
