I was involved in a car accident a year ago. I wasn't driving but did receive the worse injuries. My car was totalled. After the accident I wasnt able to drive due to my injuries but eventaully got behind the wheel with no issue. Fast forward to a month ago where I was in a second car accident, this time being my fault. It was only a fender bender but since then I haven't been sleeping right and constantly think about them. I need to drive to school and always get these images in my mind of a horrible car accident that I'll be in. Driving physically drains me and makes me sick. I'm always anxious and on edge but I have no way to not drive - I have to. I just don't know to over come it.

I was involved in a serious car accident in July. I had a panic attack about a month later while driving. Now 6 months later I still have trouble driving. I'm going to talk to my doctor about getting therapy.

My trauma was also a car crash. It happened almost 4 years ago. If it helps, this is my diary.

Four years on, I am for the most part managing my symptoms, I now have a life back and I no longer see a therapist. I do still use the coping techniques I learned from both my therapist and here.

PM me if you want to talk.
