It's gotten so chilly here I put our winter sheets on yesterday. Nice, soft, plush sheets. They're like blankets. About the only thing I like about winter.

Very warm and sunny again, last days of summer.
I love that on Monday they said - finally fall weather.

Gloomy again and sprinkling periodically. It's like the sun hasn't even risen. I wish we'd just have a thunderstorm and have it be over with. But the forecast doesn't make that seem likely.

It is sunny and clear and sixty six degrees here and it is supposed to warm up later on today. I am going to enjoy these beautiful days until they disappear.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL in Pittsfield Massachusetts today. 80 degrees, sunny and beautiful blue sky. Going downhill from here though. Pretty soon we'll be shoveling shit snow. They say it's going to be an old fashion winter here. OH JOY!!!! Sarcasm galore...

@hodge I live in a very beautiful but touristy area in the Berkshires, but man the winters here can be tough. Some yrs well over 100 inches of snow and then some like last year we only had 12 inches. I loved last yr!!!!!

Still gloomy here. Overcast. Severe storms might develop soon. But praise God we haven't had to run to the basement this year, knock wood. It's really fun trying to herd three cats into the basement. Normally they jump at the chance to go down there, but when there's a tornado warning, it's a real struggle to get them down there.

I'm getting kind of concerned. I'm seeing some strong storms moving up this way from the south on the radar. We have no severe alerts, so that's good. But it's a trigger for me. Several years ago the tornado sirens went off. I shook so badly throughout that whole thing. I have never been so scared in my life. And some people have done some really bad things to me, but I never shook uncontrollably like I did during that tornado warning. Weather trauma is a real thing.
