30 C. today..warming up, very still and bright. Sky is the palest of blue. Like the sun has bleached it. Not one single cloud out there.

Paying homage to the desert.

Anyone who’s been in the desert when it rains knows what I’m talking about. Not just the liveliness of spring on the wind, but a sudden explosion of life, each breath burning the inside of your nose like the bubbles in champagne or the cusp of a sneeze too late to stop.

It’s doing that right now.

Not for rain, but warmth. It’s warmer today than most of our short shot summer days will be... and the plants are reacting accordingly. Coming awake from winter and exploding into action.

As an added peculiarity? It’s blinding out. White featureless skies, glassy white lake, wet streets glaring back so hard that their painted lines are lost. All in a balmy, impossible warmth.

Marvin the Depressed Robot says this is bad news when the cold wet comes back. We’ll lose a lot of them caught out wrong season. Also for people with allergies, kicked in the ass twice.

C’est la vie.

It’s warm out. I’m just gonna close my eyes & enjoy the f*ck out of it.

I decided on keeping my cold wet to myself, and so not sharing, so unless you get your own coldwet, there gonna be a perfect sunny weather for the rest of the season.

... But that leaves me in a conundrum because if I am sending also the rain out, to Black Emerald, then I am left just with the cold.

Better get some mountains and snow going, then. :happy: Voila. The ideal weather.

Cool overnight - I mean maybe it was 12 C? So good for sleeping. :)

Beautiful sunny 30- 32 C., a slight,playful breeze nipping around the garden but not shaking the doors so I don't care.

It's warming up again but we have finished with the heat-waves for sure. It's won't get anywhere near 35 C now...

Fire-fighters are mopping up the last of the fires and every now and then I get a wisp of smoke.

Mother nature is throwing thunder and lightening storms around but not near me. Maybe if I'm lucky she'll throw some my way soon.

Still no clouds! Whose got all of the clouds? Bright, white palest of blue sky... Still dark sun-glass weather for sure.

A character from Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy ;)... a pot of gold could fall in his lap and he’d complain about it, and the taxes he’d have to pay on it, and how it was likely stolen so would be confiscated anyway. After the taxes were paid, mind. And then he’d be sent to jail, for receiving stolen property. But that wouldn’t matter, because what is life, anyway except a prison? The pot of gold would have to go and fall in his lap, wouldn’t it? And does anybody notice how it hit his bad leg? Or care? No... of course not. Brain the size of a planet and just left here, to face his misery alone. As always. But that’s fine because it’s all going to end in gears, of course. ?

10 minutes ago it was cloudy, mild n a little windy.
Then it was cold and hailing.
Now its sunny.
