@ladee we've had just the opposite. Lots of rain and humidity, but not really too hot! I'm sorry, try and stay cool, if possible!!!!

But soft!

For true. Gentle breezes, warm light, cool water. It's as if the world is wrapped in cotton wool & bubble wrap. Very mellow weather. Neither hot nor cold, not dry nor wet. The soft murmur of meteorology surrounds.

We haven't seen the Sun since last Fryday at noon, when the leading edge of a smoke plume from a good sized forest fire in SW Oregon arrived. The Chetco Bar Fire is about 30 miles north of Crescent City (home) We have ash fall as well, everything is dirty.

Storms off and on for the last six hours. Starting up again now. Serious lightning and a terrible crash a couple hours ago, don't know what was hit. But still, nothing nearly as bad as what's hitting SE Texas.
