Well we had a forecast of a big rain but it didn't land on me.
Instead it went to a major capital city and dumped on it... 120 mm's in two hours - a 100 year record apparently.
Meanwhile another State up North is in the grip of a extended heat-wave, has gale force winds and over 180 bushfires burning out of control and thousands of people are being evacuated.
Today, for me, sunny 24 C. brisk southerly breeze - except for the lack of rain - perfect really.
