Well we had a forecast of a big rain but it didn't land on me. :cry:

Instead it went to a major capital city and dumped on it... 120 mm's in two hours - a 100 year record apparently. :cry: :cry:

Meanwhile another State up North is in the grip of a extended heat-wave, has gale force winds and over 180 bushfires burning out of control and thousands of people are being evacuated.

Today, for me, sunny 24 C. brisk southerly breeze - except for the lack of rain - perfect really.

Today it's a bright blue, cloudless dazzling blue sky and the sun is going to pack some punch. It's only going to get to about 28 C. There is a whisper of a SE breeze coming and going.

It’s cloudy, about 10c here today , which is really warm for this time of year!

Today...there is a very strong North/Westerly wind which will cause a lot of damage on the Eastern seaboard later this afternoon. But for now it's hitting my area hard.

Our first day of Summer.

It was a beautiful cool morning but now it's about 34 C and the sky is china blue with long ribbons of white cloud.

A cool change is on the way I think.
