Current weather sucks.

Raining. I think I live in a rain forest, we have had SO MUCH rain these last few months!

The last few days have been cool... 29 C - overcast sky blocking out the sun. A brisk Southerly breeze.

Good for sleeping at night. :)

Rain is forecast for later today and tomorrow.

You don’t notice the sounds of traffic, beyond what’s within a few blocks, until everyone stops driving. Like when the skies fell silent almost 20 years ago, or the hum missing from a house when the power goes out, or seeing the stars -all of the stars, a galaxy of stars filling the night- for the first time without the lights from the city.

It’s the silence of snow. And the call of sirens.

It was quite beautiful here today, 65*F and sunny, with just a bit of a breeze. Had I lot of adulting I needed to get done indoors, but took the time to sit outside for about 20-30 minutes and soak up a bit of sun.

This loveliness is our reward for the 6+ months of blazing heat that will be upon us again before we know it.

Low 20's C today, strong southerly winds that are really more appropriate in Autumn or Winter..

Cloudy overcast sky with the sun peeking through only occasionally.
