36 C so hot, dusty, dry with gusty winds. High fire danger status.

Here in Philly, it is mostly sunny with a high of 43 F today. But yesterday it was sunny and close to 60, which was a delight. And less than two weeks ago we had the polar vortex with negative-degree temps. So yeah, the planet is going to sh*t.

Trousers soaked from ankle to shin? Check.
Mist? Check.
Fog? Check.
Drizzle blowing all directions? Check.
Rain (falling mostly downward)? Check.
Every surface wet to touch? (Including the underside and inside). Check.
Playgrounds empty? Check.

Hot and humid for most of the day. 37 C Very humid late in the day I hope it rains. The ants are busy :)

Sunny, sunny, sunny! Then ugh hot! A big hot wind blew in this afternoon and it's still really quite strong but it's supposed to cool down later. Hope so. :)

5::51 a.m. 18 F and about 5 inches of lite and fluffy snow fell during the night.

The sharp wet kind of cold that slices your skin into a thousand tiny cuts, and blows salt into them at the same time. The tears of frustration of the angry wind, mist, rain, & fog. Bones aching in sympathy. Pain on all fronts. A day to stay inside if at all possible, and let the weather cry itself to sleep.
