Current Weather

Someone said it rained a bit overnight, but I didn't notice any sign of wet.

It's in the 30's (celsius) and too windy for comfort.
It's dry, dry, dry, but, we haven't had significant smoke from the fires for a week or two, so, counting blessings there.

Or local fire is STILL burning, since november, but is contained and "under control" so yay and thank you to our firey's, you utter legends, you.

My knee was so painful the other day then it snowed and such relief. Yep. I'm that old and decrepit. ?
:p I’ve been like that since I was 20 (granted, they also reccomeded bilateral knee replacement in my early 20s... then said I had to wait until I was 50 :banghead: :roflmao::hilarious: So. My. Life. ) Below freezing? I’m good. Better than good. Amazing. Down to about -20. Above 80F? Golden. Up to about 120.

It's 46F and raining now. They're calling for freezing rain tonight into tomorrow.

It was so foggy yesterday it was like walking in clouds. And misty. Everything was wet.

My niece lives about 4 hours north of us and they are supposed to get 10 inches of snow today.

Dad is in Florida and it's the same there every day. Sunny and upper 80's. (Poor baby)

Lol @Friday. My knees are good as long as it isn't too cold. Too hot. Too humid. Or too wet. Michigan probably isn't the best place for my knees. ?
Holding off on replacement as long as I can! My left knee has been bone on bone for 30 years. Ugh! The technology they have now is amazing!! I'll be bionic. ?

I know! :inlove: There’s an elective surgery that my surgeon has done on at least half the football team (and others, but he’s the Proball Knee&Shoulder God, I meet the coolest people in his waiting room! Granted, it was one of the ball players who came to visit the sick kids at the hospital while my son was there, who noticed me gimping about, that turned me onto him) that’s taking replacement off the table ENTIRELY for a lot of people (when it’s the tendons/ligaments/cartilage that’s f*cked, instead of the bone)... essentially they go in and stretchy-superglue all the nicks/rips/tears/worn away parts, then polish the f*ck out of the new surface with a dremmel bit. Sleek, slick, & strong. Recovery time? 3 days to walk. 1 week to run. No PT. But no insurance company covers it, either. 20k per knee. :inpain: Ouch. It was experimental when I was married, went mainstream the year I got divorced. Absolutely swept pro sports since then. By the time I’m old enough for a replacement maybe insurance will cover it. Elegant in its simplicity.

10:10 a.m. cold 22 F. A lil ice and snow out there.

There were some big rain/ice/snow/wind storms yesterday and through the night. Alot of people without power. More flooding, inland now also.

January in the Midwest.

It was kinda warm-ish today. 42 F. We haven't seen the sun or moon for a few days. The sky is one big gloomy cloud thingy. It looks like dusk all day right up until it's night time and dark. Spring can't get here soon enough.

(Friday, you can have ALL of the snow!! My gift to you.)
