Oh another outstanding day! :) I'm running out of superlatives to describe my weather right now.

It's like IDK after such a shocking summer mother nature wants to get back in the good books?

Sunny skies, cool breeze, lots of airborne pretty things flitting about gathering stuff to make themselves comfortable because winter is coming but only by the mark on the calendar as far as I know atm.

Super duper day weather wise. Beautiful cool nights, almost time to change over from my summer doona to my winter doona.

Heavy dew and fog this morning but it all burned off once the sun rose. Then stupidly blue sky & fluff skirting by.

Who knew I cared.

In the 40s today, which is weird, because the last several days it's been in the 60s, near 70.

The leaves on the trees are starting to turn all the hues of brown & gold slowly.

Cool, calm night with highs in the 70's during the day.
We are entering tornado season here, although they can and have occurred year round. Late November of 2018 had a large wedge tornado develop at night, missing my mother's home by about half a mile and completely obliterating a nearby marina on the lake. A second one formed that night, missing me by a couple miles, and destroying a nearby scenic lake park.
Nothing puts the fear of God into someone quite like a twister, especially at night..

We are taking a dip in temperature and it's now 39 degrees with an expected high of 49 for the day. It will be 2 or 3 days before we head back into the upper 60's and 70's again.

So... you know the 50 zillion times I’ve mentioned it rains here 10 months a year? That’s a little bit of a fib. For apx 3 months/in the spring time, it only rains for half the day, and all night. When you’re living and sleeping outside? That counts. Because you’re still soaking wet. 3 or 4 hours of not-rain is not enough to dry out. Although? Heck. Maybe that counts for people who don’t live in a bog??? Like, “It rained yesterday.” or “It rained 3 times last month” Being an accurate statement, even if it wasn’t 24 hours of rain? Huh. I’ve been here too long. My brain is starting to rust.

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuun! We get sun! For at least a couple hours in either the morning or the afternoon there’s SUN ? ?

Sure, it’s raining, bleak, grey, and nasty the rest of the day... but hell yeah! Third planet from the SUN, there’s sun-sun-sun-sunSHINE, giant floating ball of fire in the sky!!!! I can motherf*cking SEE (well, at least as far as the next tree). Sunshine, baby, sunshine.

It's raining. :)

It began late last night so light it was barely noticeable. A slow moving low rain depression. Just beautiful.

And then I woke up to rain and it kept coming. Oh glorious rain. Love it. Happy dance!
