Current Weather

We are having the earliest spring I can remember. Here is the dogwood in my back yard and it never blooms before the end of April.

intothelight- Your tree is very beautiful! and the lake is lovely, as well. We have had all the flowering cherry trees blossoming right now. They look like big balls of cotton candy on a stick.

I need to break out the camera the next day we have decent weather. It's raining right now, but yesterday we had lots of sun and temps in the 50's, which is really nice around here in Seattle, WA, USA.

Well for once the weather man was right. We have snow.

Very windy here and no snow. The wind blew my H's 3 kayaks off the out house roof!!

Our snow has gone now, but it is still windy and rainy.

They're OK Amethist, more's the pity! They have been up on that roof for 20 years! No joking! i think they had had enough and decided to go in search of water!!:roflmao:

I told H it was a sign telling him to get rid of them as now they are blocking the garden!!

We got slammed with a terrible thunderstorm last night. At around 3 am I woke up to get something to drink and at first I actually thought there was a police car next door because I could see the lights coming in from the window...it was the lightening! Wow! Then it started hailing. The wind gusts got up to around 50mph! The rain sounded like it was going to come right through my roof! I jumped back under the covers and tried to fall asleep but I couldn't til it started to slow down. It finally slacked off after about two hours and I fell back to sleep.

Last week I was sitting with H in the garden drinking cocktails in the late evening sun. This week, I only venture out wrapped warmly in coat, scarf and gloves.

Instead of the barbecue being out this weekend, I forecast, casseroles, movies and party games.
