I have met sweet folks who I dated from church. I have also met some that were not so sweet there. Unfortunately, the sweetest one, the one I wanted to marry (and who wanted to marry me), died of a heart attack, so the wedding never had a chance to take place.
I just keep on trying. One day maybe I will meet someone and it will work out. I do belong to a club too, one for Seniors. However, I work there too, so I am kind of not able to "flirt" or anything. My hands are tied in that way there! However, if the right one flirted with me, I would not have a problem with it, I just might not know how to deal with it! LOL...
Nothing yet has happened of a romantic nature at the gym, but I have only belonged there for a month so far. Time will tell....
I met a couple of catfish looking to bilk someone on FB too, so you have to beware wherever you go online! I suppose they can even make a "presentation" in person too. That would be harder to do, but not impossible!
