Does Your Therapist Know Your Reading This?

Mine thinks that it's a good thing to get support and feedback from more than just one source. I like this website because I am getting feedback from hundreds or thousands of people who understand me.

I told my T about it after he un-retired and he also thought it was a good idea. He said he hasn't checked it out because he just trusts my judgement, and I should too.

Does anyone know anyone know if anyone else is reading this? Yet alone the sex of the great turtle or the true nature of the giant red star we are slowly moving towards.

I haven't told my T. I found the site after my last visit to him. I don't know if I will, hell I haven't even told my husband!

Nope. I don't tell them about every thing I read, or everything that happens in my life.

If I did tell them about it, I would insist that they know my username and do a search and give me an opinion of the advice I have received and given......otherwise there would be a giant question mark between us, did they approve of that post, did they see the one about x, or y, or the long one about the other?

I couldn't stand not knowing. I like it better that they don't know about this even though I am sure they would be thrilled that I found a way to talk to people about this.

And time after time I read people on here say " that sounds like my therapist talking".

I think we are all pretty open and honest with each other, and share a genuine sense of concern for one another.

I told my therapist he thought it was a good idea but I told him reading all the stories about what happened to people was tough to take....he said if it was beginning to"mess with my head" then I should take a break so I don't become overwhelmed.
