SonicWhite, it has been my experience in having PTSD that many people have opinions on that diagnosis. Not all (as a matter of fact, most) people's opinions on the affliction are not supportive. If PTSD is what you have, a key coping strategy (imho) is to learn how not to be hurt by other people's dismissiveness, anger, misinformation etc. Just try to let it roll off of your back (like water on a duck).
It is your battle and the support here can be fabulous. Take in what is helpful to you and practice compassion for those who don't 'get it'. Remembering to that people have moods, don't articulate well, and sometimes we misunderstand what others are saying as well. There are lots of places where miscommunication can occur. :hug::hug::hug:
