Lucycat, I wonder if EMDR works for all types of PTSD. I would like to try it, if it is really affective.

Me as well. Sometimes life seems so cruel unfair and it is always the innocent that suffer.

And that goes for any type of abuse.

I have been so ashamed of myself all my life; I have just begun to be honest about the things that are not my fault but I have be soooo shamed by. I do hope letting the humiliation go will set my life free once and for all.

The people that execute abuse , any type are controlling sick and evil twisted SOB's.
The violation & humiliation we feel for years to come after the fact is paralysing, but we are still here - we survived.

Many of us will be badly scarred from what has happened and feel broken and damaged and it impacts so greatly on our family, friends, and intimate relationships, the abusers life goes on as normal...
