Essential oils?

I have a bunch of essential oils and I love them. I have things like lavender jasmine rose absolute cinnamon clove frankincense and lemongrass. I use a diffuser for mine and I love it. I also, like to buy perfumes that are made from essential oils. Sometimes I put a drop of lavender on my skin. Another something I do is mix a few drops of essential oils with water in a spray bottle and mist my hair. Lavender is great for hair.

I wrote an email to Puritan's Pride asking them some questions about their products. I feel like I don't know enough yet to make the final decisions as to what I want to buy. Hopefully they will give me the answers I am looking for, mainly that I can use the Rose and Jasmine oils as perfumes on my wrists, and then lift them up to my nose when I need an emotional "lift." @She Cat

Well, Puritan's Pride answered my email asking them if I could put their Rose or Jasmine Blended oils directly on my skin. They said that I would have to mix these with some Olive Oil, 5 drops to 10 mL of base oil. I asked what 10 mL would be, but I am also wondering what I could mix them IN. I don't have any bottles hanging around right now. I guess I would have to save the next glass bottle I finish that has some food item in it that I have finished using....

I found some really nice little jars and such at thrift shops when I started making my own moisturizers, oils, toothpaste, and such. Be sure you sterilize whatever you choose to use before putting your blends in.

You can also order things online if you wish to make a bulk supply. I especially like the roller ball bottles to blend some of my favorites in to take on the go. If your neighborhood has an independently owned natural health supply store of some sort, they often sell the little roller bottles individually for around 2 or 3 dollars.
