General Evie's Cancer

Thank you once again to all. We are back home, we returned earlier this morning. Evie was terribly excited to be home, however we were "mean" and made her lie down. I believe she is happy to be back in her own bed, however. She is sleeping now, as she is still quite weak and requires rest. Due to her surgery, she will now be having 2 weeks off from cancer treatment. It is a welcome rest for all of us, having 2 solid weeks whereby we do not have to commute into the city! Jim and I are planning a nice afternoon together. Jacob is still at his friends and won't be returning until tomorrow, so we can have a little more time to ourselves before things become hectic again.

Kathy,

Glad that things are a little quieter for now....Try and rest...

Well. Notice Evie's been on here a bit. However. Mostly in bed, recovering nicely. Truth is, we've all been snoozing since our return from the city. Surprising how tired we all are.

Jim.

Oh my, since we have been home, we have all been sleeping a tremendous amount, even Jacob! The weather has turned nasty and gloomy so I am sure that is contributing. I am trying to stay up for a little longer today, as things are piling up and getting quite untidy. Evie has been sleeping round the clock, getting up for a couple of hours and here and there, but in bed most of the time. The surgery was more complex than anticipated, so likely she needs the rest. Her mood is still very happy and calm, and we are anxious to see if that will continue. However, we must wait until she is up and about for the majority of the day, which won't likely be for a few more days.

Hi Kathy,

I think that all of you are just emotionally, mentally, and physically wrung out...You all need rest.....All of you have been through a tremendous amount of stress for the past few months...

I hope with the coming days the sun creeps out, and gives you all a little bit of a lift....

Hugs to all of you,

Wen

I bet that it feels so nice to be back in your own bed, doesn't it? Give Chairman Meow a kiss and a scratch from me. I adore kittycats.
