First off, just sending you major empathy. The overwhelmed feeling you have is really normal for what you are going through. Not that what you're going through is normal, just that it's actually so hard and your feelings about it can change so rapidly - it makes it really overwhelming. So if it helps you to know, you aren't alone in that.
And posting here is a great thing to do, just to vent and release some of that pressure. Have you thought about starting a trauma diary? That can be a great place, too, to just write stuff out.
And finally - I know you've got a therapist that you are working with, and home is an OK environment for you - but I wonder if there's also a support group in your area you could try? You could ask your therapist. Group is a really different dynamic, and sometimes it can help a whole lot.
