Gabapentin Side Effects? Too Relaxed?

I actually think it's not cold-flu symptoms as side effect but a sort of immune side effect. Scientists didn't even figure out that the nervous system and immune system were connected in some way until some time in the 90s. But a friend of mine has also had a similar response (bad cold and allergies within a couple days of starting this med and feeling nice and relaxed for once). My body doesn't do slowing down very well! My therapist has some ideas about this too, so we'll talk about it next week. I don't know if I dare take a tiny dose yet or if that will set me up for hives and epi shots or what. I really hope this works though.

Pattern of the week: 0-1 gabapentin and I'm fine. 2 in a day and I feel like hell. It's taken a week of these trials, figuring I do have allergies and a cold, to realize this. So some interplay with my immune response or whatever. My back pain left but now it feels like a lung is going to drop. 1 pill of gabapentin is nothing but that's what I have to stick to...lightweight suddenly!

I have a major concern. Is it possible that you could tell me - were you taking gabapentin while you were receiving the EMDR sessions?
