I am not pregnant
I am on Cipralex
I do have anxiety
I do have acid relflux but this isnt it.. I dont taste the acid in my mouth.
I work in healthcare. So any bodily fluid to me is like whatever, I have a strong stomach.
But i find my chest tight. If i wear a bra it feels like so much pressure on my chest its unbearable. I think its anxiety!
So.
Almost every a.m. i am waking up dry heaving.. And the worst part is sometimes i feel my food in my stomach move up into my tummy or moving closer to the exit *my mouth*

Is this damn anxiety !?!

I don't know... I wish it was quite so dry cut to separate.
How are you sleeping? Have you been having bad dreams that may make you wake that way? Or are you worried/anxious about something particular more than usual? Did this start after a certain event or problem? Did it start after starting Cipralex or has it been going on for a while? Are you talking more about trauma or anything you haven't thought of much before that so you're not processing it?

It could be that Cipralex for some reason is not right for you. It could be situational anxiety. It could be a result of bad dreams and so on and so on... I've had times when I was a right smack down in the middle of really processing my trauma and had a lot of bad dreams- and would wake up nauseous and hopeless all the time. When my anxiety was highest before I found meds that worked for me, I did used to wake many many mornings with my heart pounding like a hammer, already in panic just from waking up. So it could be. It seemed to take me forever to wake up and settle my body and I would have 2h long getting ready routine to calm my body and get less anxious. Lots of therapy and finding the right meds and dosage later- I mostly wake up normally- sometimes better or worse like anyone. But not panicking or nauseous or anything of the sorts anymore. So yes, it could totally be anxiety, but it depends on many factors. If you've been this anxious before you can probably have a sense of whether it is, but when I was first experiencing anxiety took a while to start separating what's what.

Thank you. Lots.of new stressors.
And i have ptsd nightmares.so.that.doesnt help. Will be seeing a.psychoayrist soon to discuss meds and go from there

That is not an uncommon thing. I remember when that symptom presented in me. So awful, throwing up, nauseous on the verge. I thought to myself that every time it happened was one less time I had to do it in the future.
