Hate Speech ... Need Advice

my brother has PTSD and someone sent him a link to a youtube video. its a "joke" video where theres suddenly audio and video of graphic warfare and violence ... its intended to trigger people with PTSD. sort of like the ones where they do flashing lights to give epileptic people a seizure. this obviously did not go over well for him.

i dont want to post a link here for obvious reasons. im not a fan of censorship but i think this video could cause someone to get hurt in real life. i reported the video a week ago but of cours this didnt work. i want to do something about it so nobody has to go thru what my brother did.

please give me advice?

This guy doesn't sound like a real friend to your brother!

Best thing you can do is write in the youtube comments as much as possible. I'm sorry, there's not too much else I know to do...

Actually get a heap of people to write comments. That will have more of an impact!

Unfortunately, it is impossible to take down all triggery stuff on the internet. It is possible for him to get rid of his crap "friend" who sent him that video.

Your brother could set up his own "parental control" settings on his internet browser or get an app for it. There are some apps and/or browser settings that will make any questionable videos blurry until a passcode is entered. I do this for myself. This way, I can still choose to watch triggery stuff, but I get a warning before I view it. It's a great way to have youtube videos friends send to me to be be somewhat pre-screened before I view them.
