Hi shoulderblades. I am sad for your childhood but you are a very, very strong woman and mother. Getting the right help and searching for a diagnosis to begin to heal from or manage takes so much courage. I am glad you will see your GP next week about the PTSD diagnosis. I hope that you get it and that you can begin treatment for the pTSD as well.
