I had 2 nightmares back to back and then woke up all sweaty at 4:30am. It took me a few minutes to fall asleep again. And it felt like the nightmares just kept going once I fell asleep again. I wound up sleeping about 40 minutes later than I was supposed to after my alarm clock went off. I'm a little nervous about tonight now.
I slept horrible for the last several nights. Not like I ever sleep well but I was going to an event where there was someone I used to work with and was nervous about being asked questions about why I was not at work yet etc. He also knew about the abuse of other women there and I am sure knew about me as well but did not say. I think seeing him as well triggered me for several nights. He told my husband the biggest reason he left was because he did not want to be part of an organization that harassed women. He wanted nothing to do with it. A woman went forward off the record with him and gave him 4 other women's names. I was probably one of them. He talked to me about my boss and how funny he was. My experience was different. I told my boss I was being harassed and he basically told me to shut up or I would be fired.
Last night I had a sleeping pill at around 12:30am and it did not help so I at 4:15am had a anxiety pill. My children were angels and woke up and put on the tv and let me rest because they are normally in my room at around 7:00am. Insomnia is one of my worst symptoms. I do not remember the last time I had a restful sleep.
I slept terrible last night. I had bad dreams. I am feeling lousy. I sure hope it passes. I may have to do food shopping today and I do not want to do it.
I had stomach distress last night. My stomach really hurt. So I took ages to go to sleep then I woke up with stomach pain and then I had to go to the toilet and it took ages for all that to pass. It wasn't a good night. I can't eat curries anymore, I used to be able to but not anymore.
I thought I was going to sleep well last night, I didn't wake up until after 3 this morning. I got up for a moment and was still tired so I thought I would fall asleep for another few hours. I was wrong, I kept feeling like I was suffocating even though there was nothing near my face or throat. It only stopped once I got out of bed. Just writing this is making the feeling return so I know it is something in my mind.
I actually slept 10 hours last night. I let myself go to bed late, watching a series, drawing and then reading. I was calm when I went to sleep, (except for the things that I worried about just before I went to sleep). But I awoke feeling much better.
