@Ghaith wardeh This is a long shot, but you might want to try contacting Rami Jarrah. He's a Syrian journalist and political activist with a lot of supporters and contacts in the West. I don't know if he has any contacts in Norway, specifically, but he might be able to put you in touch with someone to help you tell your story. He's been very outspoken about wanting people in the West to know what's happening in Syria. I don't have his email, and don't know him personally, but he is on Facebook and maybe you could try messaging him there?

It might also help you to help other Syrian refugees in Norway. It'd give you someone to talk to who has a shared experience, and you might feel less alone if you find others experiencing the same things in Norway. (Maybe this place could help in some way? NRC)

I'm sorry I don't have more advice to offer. I realize you are probably not getting very good treatment from people in Norway. In Russia, authorities and people in general were very cruel to Syrian refugees. They had no assistance and the government was constantly taking bribes from them to let them stay in the country. I imagine it is only slightly better in Norway.

I am so sorry you are experiencing this. Hate speech is terrible and should not be tolerated. Our societies have become toxic towards numerous groups of people and I hope it gets better. I hope you can find a way to feel calm, because being anxious is no way to live. I try to meditate and use different breathing techniques whenever my anxiety is high. Try to remember that people post horrific things on social media that aren't really going to be acted upon. They are just for "shock value".
