I struggle with taking space when i need it

@EveHarrington Yes makes sense, of course. I was thinking more from a POV of someone very close and aware of what's going on. More distant relatives/acquaintances/friends I think should be happy with that sentence, of course without the I love yous and It's not yous. Or something like an "out of office reply" if correspondence is going on via email/text/or voicemail. "Gone to the spa! Back soon!" Of course it's a case-by-case kind of thing and depends on how much they know/care to know/should know, as well as how and how regularly you're in touch with them?

I'm speaking as someone imagining how I'd react if a friend/relative/acquaintance needed space. How would I take least offense. Very much depends on those criteria above.

I'm a worrywart and often find myself worrying I'm going to lose everyone in my life because of [insert worry of the day.] I've found people aren't as perceptive as I think they are or just don't read as much into my actions as I thought. More often than not, they didn't even notice anything was different.
