I love that little fuzzy face! That pic with the kitty and the flowers could so be a greeting card.

The adorable "Miss Flower" is going to be the poster kitty for a new campaign to raise money for her rescue group. We have 100 new donation banks to put out all over town and her picture is going to be on the banks. Think Miss Flower could raise a little money?

I am so excited about it. They are going to use something "I" created. Me Just Jan made a useful and beautiful picture. I am so excited

Sorry to brag but this is just way to cool

Don't be sorry. I think it's awesome. And yes, I do believe that beautiful kitty and your stunning picture will bring in some cash. I'd donate if I came across it.

Blessings and Blossoms,
Jet

Thank you for the compliment and blessing. I just hope she can raise solme cash. The non-profit organizatin needs it.

But money or not, ISN'T SHE THE CUTEST?

I have a new kitten, too.

Last Wednesday, I was sitting in my upstairs window, when I saw a minivan pull over, into the grass in front of my house, and throw something out the window. The window was open, and I yelled, "HEY!", and the guy sped away.

I immediately went out, to see what he tossed out of his car. It looked like coffee, or something (my view was sort of blocked by trees), but I could find no sign of anything.

The next evening, I was walking around the front of the house with the kids (we were looking for cool rocks), when a little orange kitten walked out from under one of the trees and "mewed" at me. She was scared, but I managed to catch her, and bring her inside. She was very hungry and thirsty, but very sweet, too.

We named her Pumpkin, and the kids adore her. She's about 12 weeks old.

It really makes me mad, when people dump animals like that. I wish I had been able to get the guy's license plate number.

I just went and picked up my two new babies last night. Yup...I am a sucker, I took the other little boy that I thought was so cute. What the heck...Willow needs a playmate. And I think it was a good thing all around. They did not even cry on the way home in their carrier...just curled up together. Did not cry last night with out their mama either. Having a sibling...someone familiar from home helped I think. I also think it helped that I have known them since before they were born (I was the first person that Mew let hold her after she was rescued).

They were a little spooked by the dog but they are little and she loves babies I figure they will all adjust once the kittens figure out that she just wants to mother them and not eat them.

So now the menagerie includes 1 dog (Jerron), 3 ferrets (Monster, Smokey and Bandit), 2 kittens (Willow and Bender) and 1 Boa Constrictor (Jazz).

Sad day today. Flower, Einstein and Scooter went back to the shelter to get ready to be adopted by their forever mommies.

I will miss them, especially Miss Flower the poster girl. Except for being the dirtiest litter of kittens they were the most enjoyable I've had

I will miss them

Giving up foster pets is the hardest part of raising them. That's how I ended up with 8 cats. Of course, I was fostering over 30 of them.

Always remember the good you're doing, and the lives you're saving. Plus, once you've gotten your house back in order (kittens have a way of putting things in disarray), you can open your door to another litter. When you're ready, of course.

Congrats on your 1000th post, too!
