I believe in God,and more than likely Jesus. We are all children of God, and someone needed to come to earth and teach humans how to be human. Why? Man has proven themselves throughout the ages to be flawed and foolish, it is also this same flawed and foolish man who created religion. And when one man didn't agree with the other, they created another, and another, and so on.
The most concrete thing about religion is that it is mostly based on disagreements on how man should live their lives. Man has for generations killed each other in the name of God. If god is love, and his love our life, then how is it possible for man to disagree with this premise? Who else was able to figure out that killing or torturing another human being was wrong? Moses received this directive and Jesus confirmed it.
Have you ever considered the miracle of life from a cell to a human? Or truly wraped your ahead around the concept of the
infinity of outer space?
With season of Christmas among us, which was Started in England and entwined in American culture, it is the celebration of Christ's birth. I don't celebrate chaunakah, Rhamadam, or the winter solstice, but I don't appose it. A basic human decency is to respect that all men are different but have basic God-Given rights. So don't appose Christmas is an effort to further some other non-related agenda.
God is what is right about our lives, but religion is man's way of controlling something that it can't.
I believe in God, not religion. Because God is the only reason I am alive today.
