so yeah, I feel like a 1st class bitch.

No you are not! You have a ton on you're plate! Im sorry about everything you're going through! If i can help any, my inbox is open.

I dont know if this will help but to lower my amxiety at work, i close my eyes and imagine myself floating on my on water.

I got it from an anxiety app called What's Up. Some really awesome ideas in there and other apps too for it.

Take care of you!

@Lizio , I like those ideas!

I personally have never been given psych meds in a hospital BUT i have been hospitalized for 3 times having pneumonia; twice in a year, and 4 surgeies.

I dont want to be touched, have issues being undressed under a hospital gown, and people (nurses) find out quick how NOT to wake me up.

Obvouisly i have to be touched to take vitals but not much & sometimes they let me put the stuff on.

i make sure to tell them the sec im admitted that give them a list of my medications, strength, & prescribing Dr (they always lower my pain meds but gives me my anxiety meds when needed up to what im presribed) and i make sure i make a few copies, give one to the ER nurse but since it NEVER gets given to the nurse upstairs, i then give them a copy upstairs and i have a copy so if they dont give me something i take it out & fight w/ them.

I had to tell my MD just that had been abused as a child so he would understand.

My MD in the other State I lived in was AWESOME, i accidently hit a nurse that touched me trying to wake me to take vitals so when my Dr did his rounds at 7am & i was asleep, he stood a few feet from me (i couldnt reach him, he didnt want to be hit lol) but he softly said my name in a soft, kind voice and i woke up fine and even smiled and said "hi you".

Anyway, i didnt mean to ramble about me, my point was that they are Drs and nurses, they care for the sexually assulted/raped, kidnapped, domestic abuse victims and other crimes so though theres generally a psycologist there in those cases, most of the Drs (except in a horrible hospital i went to once) are understanding of past abuse & issues they cause or even PTSD and other mental disorders & the issues there. Even most nurses ive had was understanding.

Maybe you dont have a good hospital where you are? If so can you find one that is better?

I was gonna post the link that I use to find the best hospitals (patient's comments help most) but realized you have what google says is a Japanize flag so if it helps & if possible, i always find univeristy hospitals to be the best ones. They ARE learning but their bedside mannor & understanding of issues like PTSD seem to be much better & even the Drs seem to be much more thorough & listen way better.

I think we are focused on the hospital because your health is way more important than a traffic ticket and your husband's feelings. It seemed to be the most important thing listed; not that the rest isnt important but your health needs to be first before anything (a huge lesson i had to learn).

Take care of YOU first so you can be there for the rest.

My inbox is always open for you, or anyone, that needs to talk!

Great post, Fadeaway. I hope and pray you can get the medical attention you need without more trauma. :hug:s
