Dear all,

I am getting a bit worn out, but I've now been travelling for 7 weeks, mostly in Africa, all by myself, including time changes, being too hot, not having water, getting sick, getting lost, etc. and I'm doing quite well!

It's by and large been amazing, I'm managing to get a fair amount of work done, and I been feeling healthy (brain wise). It's definitely made me more confident, that yes I can do this!

Wow to say the least... The inherent fright aspect of being in foreign surroundings and having PTSD... Wow indeed.

Auburngirl,

Yes - WOW. I've done the same thing. I'm currently in Thailand at the end of a long period of travel alone. There have been ups and downs - and I must admit, I am certainly ready to go home now. From someone who has done it - congratulations. It's not easy. Use it as a confidence booster when you ever feel afraid. Just remember 'I did something really brave'
Best of luck to you
Jen
