I put this here because we were talking in the wrong thread.
As I have mentioned before, nobody wants to be on medication here. In fact, most of the veterans I know hate taking medication period. But for me at the moment, faced with the alternative of maybe losing another relationship, or spiraling further out of control, I would rather be a lab rat. Its only temporary.
Its an individuals choice and they do need to be made aware of side effects, and most pharmacists will print out the product description etc.
I have been down that track of getting off all medication and self medicating, but whats the difference, your still screwing with your liver or lungs via alcohol, illegal medication, or pot.
The only real solution is to find something that works and get the psych help.
