This has been starting to really bother me too lately. I feel it's mostly short term memory being messed with. I'll ask my boyfriend something and not remember his answer, then annoy him by constantly asking him the question... The opposite is true as well, I could have swore I said yes to going to a friends house but apparently I never did. I'm attending classes to help with coping skills and such but I couldn't tell you a single thing about yesterdays classes.

I've also been having trouble with words. Takes me a while just to articulate a simple word, kind of like the statement "on the tip of my tongue". I'm good at spelling but when I reread something I've written I add random letters to words and/or miss letters (lol I spelt coffee as cooffee, in writing, added and e to the end of the word bread). That and reading, I'll be reading something and read a completely different word than what is there. I can't think of one right now but it bothers the hell out of me.

I've tried writing lists but then forget that I've even written it. I'll have taken a pill and seconds later after taking the second pill I can't remember if I've even taken the first pill.

Very frustrating indeed. I can sympathize with anyone having memory issues. I've beeing trying to figure out if it's medication or the PTSD (did you see that I figured I wouldn't correct it but I just typed 'beeing' instead of 'been'. beeing isn't even a word..ha....haaa..... :/ )

Yes! I just logged on after several years of not being on the forum to ask the same question. I'm back to work now with my most severe symptoms being under control but the memory and speech issues persist. I score very high for the rest of my intellect during testing and I don't know what I can do to help with this part of my recovery. Hopefully someone can give some information.
