@Dana1010 Yes, it is a bit difficult at first, while you get used to your new surroundings and the new friends you make. It takes awhile to find the right places and people to be in and with. You shop around for places where you feel welcome and people who are kind and understanding and caring. Again, in my experience, it is worth the effort and everything you put into it. I would say it took me about 3 years after my move for me to find these places and these people. I also had my old friends from where I used to live on the phone and online. As I entered deeper and deeper into my new life, I let some of them go. In the end, I only kept in touch with one person and her husband while I fully integrated into my new life. I prayed a lot and asked God to help me too. That makes a difference also.
