I missed it too!! Good God. No idea how I managed to see it today of all days- hit a key accidently and am dealing with teeny weeny font I have zero idea how to fix. I had no idea what you have been going through. I got assaulted by police three years ago and I've never seen such corruption. It has been the bravest thing I ever did to try to stand up to them. But I kept thinking that if no one has the courage to stand up against them, then they can hurt my loved ones and innocent people. This lawsuit has consumed me for three years and I actually got a little miffed when my T didn't want me to give up. But even if I don't win (and by some miracle I still can), maybe the police will think twice before beating up the next person (or now sometimes I think that since they know I fought them with all my might and they still got away with it, they will be more cocky).

I wish you the best of luck Gloria with this and I truly hope that a lesson be learned here. What helped me is that I let some politiciens know and the AFPAD organisation. They haven't been cocky since !

I forgot to tell you that my lawyer is active in NAMI (National Association for Mentally Ill) and he is using my lawsuit and case file to make it illegal to psychologically torture people with mental illness and trauma during depositions. They changed the laws for rape victims and for battered women here so that they can have an advocate present at the depositions. But since it wasn't a rape or domestic battery, the lawyer refused to allow me to have my psychologist with me when they triggered me and tortured me by making repeat over and over again the exacty same details trying to get me crack.

So I'm on the same page with you Froggie. I'm so proud of you. A lot of people may not understand how hard it is to stick with something like this (as painful as it is) because you believe in something - because you don't want other people to suffer like you did.
