I told them where she works and I'm trying to think of every place she likes to go to. She really likes to go into the woods when stressed, so, that doesn't bode well for finding her fast. I'm thinking of messaging two people and telling them that I'm concerned for her, and if they know where she is or where she could be, please tell me. or the police. or...

When I said "get going" I meant that in terms of calling. I do believe that right now it's best to stay home and provide information to the authorities and mutual friends.

Also you can check back in with them via their nonemergency number every 10 or 15 minutes to get updates

You're doing such a good job, I know how scary it is to be dealing with this kind of thing. Do you have anyone that can sit with you while you "search" for your friend? Sending positive thoughts for her safety.

It's around 3am here -- the worst hour of the night. It's hard to be in the place of battling suicidal thoughts. I know that well. It's hard to be on this side of this. I wish she had told me how she was doing before she got this far... I hate depression and what it does to people.
