My Issues....

Thanks @FridayJones, @Tanishq , @The One Who Knocks and @Neverthesame for writing on my thread. I really appreciated your views and thanks for encouraging me.

It is not late for the thread @Neverthesame, I was in a very wrong frame of mind when I read someone's most cruel comment on my previous thread to the point that I was crying the entire day. This is same person who at times has good suggestions but other times they throw some really nasty/vicious comments on my threads. I usually put them on ignore but decided to not have them on ignore last time because I don't want to hold grudges against someone whom I don't know in real life. But each time I put this person on unignore mode, they fail me and teach me a worse possible lesson. Therefore from now on I will not have this person off ignore option. I've had enough of shit in real life and I can't take it anymore from a stranger. I will keep up with my threads with this particular person staying on ignore because it's not worth it!

I know that by now everyone must be sick of my threads here.
If everyone was sick of your threads, you wouldn't continue to get so many constructive replies to them. Maybe try changing 'I know...' to 'I think....' or 'i feel...' and maybe also try comparing the number of responses that feel positive that you got to a thread, to the number that feel negative and see if it really seems to be true that everyone, or even most people, seem fed up, or if it's one or two responses that have made you jump to it being everyone. Is it appropriate, or fair, to tar everyone with one brush? Why does the response you feel to be negative carry more weight than the ones you feel are positive? Why are you giving more importance to people you feel bring you down than to those who try to help you up? Not criticising, just some food for thought.
If people are sick of your threads, they have the choice not to respond to them! ;)

This.

You can't stop people from responding to threads you post publicly, and I think it's good to remember as well that what doesnt work for you, might work for someone else. Someone else reading a thread you started might really benefit from something said by someone, even if you don't, especially in more general threads that don't only apply to your own situation.
Use the ignore function and stick to it! If you know that what someone has said is likely to upset, offend, annoy or anger you, then don't click on 'Show Ignored Content'! ;)

Keep posting. I've noticed in recent posts from you that you have a thing for ranking people - there may be people who are more vocal or active, or who have more experience in different areas, but no one here is more or less important than another......well apart from Anthony and Nicolette maybe...if they pull the plug we're all kinda screwed! :playful:;)

@digger : Love you for your post. You made me laugh and happy with your post. Thanks for sharing your views and Yes, that person is now ignored forever and for good. I tried giving them too many chances but in the end I was the one who was hurt. Therefore no more chances and I will be kinder to myself. You are right that I tend to fall for negative comments more easily than the positive ones because I feel that the negative ones are real while positive ones feel lies. Which is actually the opposite. All thanks to my bastard father, mum's brother and her sisters. It's strange how people can f*ck up a child's mind and as a result you get a screwed up adult. I wonder if I will ever have normal relationships in the future. It's just scary.
