@Lewa Please hang in there. Keep up the work you are doing. I want to tell you something honestly because this comes from my experience. It took me months to get back to walking and fix sleep timings. With PTSD, you become lot slower. It's normal I think. Scenery will change after some months. :)
 
Not coping well at all this week but not giving in to feeling hopeless so I guess that is something, right?!?

@UniversalBeing I don't have therapist here, so would it be safe to go for EMDR therapy session which is on amazon?

@Tanishq doing EMDR processing on your own is not safe and I don't think it is possible. However the safe place part can be done alone with this audios. It is not about processing any memory but about calming the mind and body. It like guided visualization with added bilateral simulation through sound.

You can listen to it without headphones and you will see it's nothing scary.
 
I have a hard time with the tools. I have the tools it is just remembering them and using them in the situation. I usually don't realize what I could have done until after the fact. I also get tired of using them. It's tough when I struggle with the same thing over and over and over and over and it seems like I use the tools to get the thought away but it's only temporary and always comes back
