Helloooo guys:
I got another question for you. This is for the the survivors of abuse.
When life is stressfull, the baby is sick, the washer is broke, car in the shop, bills are late. Ect
have you ever noticed an increase in flashbacks, or dreams of of the abuse?
 
Sure. All those things increase your level of anxious apprehension, which triggers the feeling life is getting out of control again, which triggers memories of what happens when life gets out of control. When that happens it means it's time for a lot of self-talk and relaxation exercises now, followed up by an re-evaluation of the stressors in your current situation. We need an environment that only generates a low level of anxious apprehension (easier said than done, of course).

thank for the info, I figured as much as I noticed this in my own life. Now I have to google self-talk and relaxation exercises.
So I can apply them into my life.
