Undiagnosed New To Forum - Undiagnosed But Suffering

Hi everyone,

I found this forum on Google as I'm really needing some support & needing to not feel alone. A little bit of background of my PTSD; I have suffered with PTSD for many years but have been unaware of it until recently - have had the symptoms but didn't have any idea that it was PTSD. My PTSD has come about after suffering endless abuse from my parents, school bullies & even some who called themselves friends. I have also been in one abusive relationship but I am now free of all the abuse & have a supportive partner. Being free of it all has brought all the disassociated feelings, emotions, thoughts & trauma rushing back to me like I've been hit with a truck. Have had flashbacks which are now much less thanks to counselling but I am currently struggling greatly with feelings of tension, anxiety, worry & just generally feeling hopeless, pathetic, weak & it's affecting me daily at the moment.

I really hope that I can help others as well find comfort, support & information for myself too.
