ok not sure if im doing this right or even want to but think its time ive had many traumas in my life i had 3 major traumas before i reached 15 the worse out the three would be my stepfather hate even thinking about him he murdered my mother she was 32 then he killed himself 6 weeks later feel nothing about his death i was 14 my brother whos dad it was was 4 gosh looks worse typed and thats not even the half of it i found i sailed through my twentys prob partying to much but since 2010 ben diagnosed with this PSTD so what now im confused ?

It's really brave of you to reach out. I'm sorry you have been through terrible things. The good news is that here, people understand how that can affect us.

I don't think anyone can fully answer "what now" for you. I wish I knew. My best answer is:
(1) If you ever decide you want to talk more about what happened, a trauma diary is one good way to do that. Starting a journal has helped me a lot, even though my first-ever journal entry (on paper) was: "this is a bad, bad idea."
(2) You can look through the threads. Some people may write about things you struggle with, and other people may respond with advice that you find helpful.
(3) Also, do you talk with a therapist?

I hope you find the support you need, here.
 
thank you kindly for getting back ok well im on meds have been since 2010 was seeing a psyciatrist and lets be honest i know its a psycologist i need have been waiting long time to see one which spoke to gp about going private they referred me again ive waited 3 years to see one hence where the problem lies i have agraphobia which is anew thing just diagnosed in past year yeah so ev a bit complicated keeping a journal not sure if im completely honest i would do that as the traumas have been bt never go im defo feady to talk now im 39 spent last 7 years in a very bad way im sorry is this ok me typing this?
 
Well done for seeking help - it's crazy that you've been made to wait for so long.
This website can't replace therapy, but there are useful threads about agoraphobia in the "Other symptoms and disorders" section
 
Welcome to the forum. Great job reaching out. So sorry for what you have experienced. I agree with one step to start a trauma diary as you feel ready to write...can be as much or as little as you want...it is a journey...it is not a sprint. Do you have any options for online therapists?
