This is just another legal slap up. They treat the law like putty, because they make it.

Not sure if anyone is familiar with basic language in computing, but what the VA engages in is the opposite of a program.

A program has "if then" statements to solve questions. If this input then you do this. Generally the goal at the end is to solve a problem.

The VA has constructed something with no goal. If this input.....go to......not then do this. They mire everyone in a loop hoping the input will just go away. Costs nothing to keep you on the same piece of paper forever. Furthermore they engage in automated psychological warfare. If this....send nonsensical letter in order to intimidate, frustrate and hopefully deter further input.

I may be slightly cynical. But that seems to be what I've seen in the last year.

VA Motto: Intimidate, Frustrate and Deter. There is a T shirt in there somewhere.

But it's "entertainment"!
We aren't held to journalistic standards and integrity for "entertainment"! :rolleyes:

When I realized I can get better (more fair, balanced, and better researched) news from ComedyCentral... I quit watching / reading American news altogether.

When I'm not hiding under a rock I'll get news from AP, BBC, Embassy/Mission & other releases from State, Nat.Geo.Soc., scientific journals, classified ads, K&R insurance, & social media (just learned some not so fun stuff about Libya this morning. S'what I get for crawling out from under my rock. f*cking Tripoli.).

I just don't buy anything that's been predigested for my consumption anymore... Unless it's comedy.

If it were Viet Nam then I would concur. There were guys that were offered the opportunity to go to jail or Viet Nam.

One of my best friends was a "Marine Corps or Jail" inductee. Serve 6months in jail, then to Parris Island. ( Or serve the full 10+ in SingSing). Did his 4. Recalled for 911. Firefighter now. Great guy.

They did this allot in the Navy. The 80's ships were full of criminals.
