One Thing That Made You Smile Today?

This is a shot from an online advert that when I see it has really unsettled me each time I have seen it. Today I realised the think behind the dried fruit is a bread maker. Previously for some reason I had thought it was a toilet. I can’t stop giggling at myself now.

@Mee, I think it depends what part of the pic you notice first. Left corner, could totally look like edges of one + paper, soap, w/e stand.

Vs the right/center side, easier to see the pic straight.

A few things made me smile today....making up for the grumpiness of the last several days. :)

I met a lady from out of state who was at least 20 years my senior, who praised my southern accent as soon as I spoke to her, and she, too, was wearing tie dye socks. My people! lol A super nice human who I really enjoyed a random conversation with.

Right after that, I had to go to the bank for more estate paperwork and such and the banker dude who helped me began discussing food and such, which opened the gate for me to share my experiences with plant-based eating.

Come to find out, his wife is currently struggling with several health issues, is being bounced around by the docs with no helpful or hopeful answers, and is trying to find ways to change her consumption habits, too, so I'll be emailing him some info later.

Also, while sitting in his office, I looked out and noticed an old faded sign on a building across the street. Once I was able to make out what it says, I realized it was the old clock shop that the man who taught my dad used to own. I was too young at the time to remember him or his shop. That was my sign that I was in the right place at the right time.

Seeing a blue heron fly overhead as I was headed to a place I didn't really want to go to, then getting home and being met by a red-tailed hawk in the tree outside my window, then several turkey vultures surfing the breezes overhead as I took a walk. Grateful for the presence and the delightful distraction of feathered friends when I need to see them the most.
